Whittington Shooting Center...We broke bread and threw lead for two and one-half wonderful days outside of Raton New Mexico on April 24, 25 and 26! Twenty-five stalwart Vintagers came from three states to enjoy camaraderie, great food and challenging targets. Tales were told, new friends made and magnificent SxS shotguns displayed. Sixteen rough and ready Vintagers attended our annual pheasant shoot at Rocky Mountain Roosters on March 7th. Four inches of fresh snow and brisk weather made for a perfect hunting day with great scenting conditions for the dogs. Of course, once the dogs find the birds, the rest is up to us and our trusty SxS's didn't let us down. Fine shotguns, great dog work, Vintager camaraderie and a wee dram at the clubhouse closed out a memorable day....To the double trigger.

On February 7th forty Vintagers, spouses and guests convened at The Fort for our annual banquet. An excellent selection of beer and wine was included with both passed appetizers and dinner. We were treated to our choice of elk chops, buffalo ribs, quail or salmon entrees followed by creme burlee or chocolate chili cake.
